Allied's Identity Theft Protection is an affordable option to your homeowners, condo or renters policy. It pays up to $25,000 (with no deductible) to cover certain expenses you incur while returning your identity to normal, including lost income, attorney fees, and more.

Some of our Identity Theft Protection services are provided in partnership with the experienced privacy recovery professionals at Europ Assistance USA. Services available to you include:

  • Help in identifying fraudulent accounts
  • Placement of fraud alerts on your credit reports
  • Notification to the Federation Trade Commission and credit reporting agencies
  • Assistance replacing your driver's license, passport, social security card and other key identification documents
  • Credit monitoring services, to keep you informed
  • Lost income (maximum $250 per day, up to a total of $5,000)
  • Cash advances if the theft occurs away from home
  • Expenses of executing affidavits
  • Notary and certified mail costs
  • Loan re-application fees

Free anti-key logging and anti-phishing protection

Through our partner, Europ Assistance USA, Nationwide is now able to offer customers with identity theft coverage the Online Data Protection Suite which includes two tools to protect your sensitive data while surfing the Internet:

  • DataScramblerTM protects your keystrokes from key logging attacks
  • PhishBlockTM warns you if you attempt to access a phishing site. This optional service works along side traditional anti-virus software and can be downloaded and installed in three simple steps on up to three personal computers.
